Organizing and Showing Support for Each Other
Seeking: Engagement Captain(s)
Attn: SLCTA Members
We are looking for an Engagement Captain (or more than one) at each site to help plan, organize, communicate, and keep energy going at your site(s). Any member is eligible to participate at their own comfort level. Come check out our first meeting on March 31st at 3:45pm at our union office (office buildings on the corner of Los Osos Valley Rd and South Bay Blvd (a 12 min drive from SLO). We will share ideas, brainstorm more ideas, and hear what has worked at other districts and in the past with SLCTA.
There will be snacks provided.

The WHO Awards
What Are They?
WHO is the acronym for We Honor Ours. WHO Awards have traditionally been presented to members of chapters who have demonstrated outstanding service, and/or leadership. Local and State WHO Awards have been presented through the Service Center since 1975.
How Do I Nominate an SLCTA Member?
Select a fellow educator, who is an Association member, for all he or she has done on behalf of your chapter and the profession. Nominations for this year are done through Google Forms.
When Do Events Take Place?
March 28, 2022 Applications due NO LATER THAN 12:00p.m.
April 4, 2022 All applications reviewed by Steering Committee.
April 6, 2022 Notification to Presidents and award recipients will be sent out with all
information regarding dinner, reservations, prices, and due dates.
